Key rules for targeting cleanliness

Crystal is a very delicate material. But despite its susceptibility, its surface is extremely smooth. Therefore, any dirt falling on it can be easily removed. To do this, you only need to choose the right detergent and follow the step-by-step instructions for cleaning.

Crystal chandelier should be washed in the following sequence:

  1. Turn off the electricity supply.
  2. If possible, detach the suspensions (after fixing their location in the photo, it is better – from different angles).
  3. Place removable crystal parts in a plastic dish with washing solution, leave for 30-40 minutes. After the time has elapsed, wipe each pendant with a lint-free cloth.
  4. If the design of the lamp is solid, several times you can wipe all the details of the crystal with a fabric napkin that does not leave a nap, or with ordinary gauze moistened with the selected detergent.
  5. The frame should be washed with a previously selected solution. Carved and rough surfaces can be brushed with a soft bristle brush.
  6. When the dirt is removed, rinse the crystal parts with a weakly acidic solution of vinegar.
  7. Hang loose pendants and rub the whole lamp with a clean, dry cloth.

It is possible to connect the chandelier to the electrical supply only after all the components have completely dried. Otherwise, an undesirable raid may appear on the crystal parts, and in the worst case, a short circuit will occur (due to the presence of moisture).
