- 1 sheet of paper or cardboard of any color and medium size.
- Pens and pencils in different colors.
- Cream erasers.
- Scissors and white glue or cold silicone stick.
- Photos of parents, siblings, grandparents, uncles, cousins and all family members that are available.
- If you prefer not to draw the tree, print a family tree figure large enough to cover much of the poster board.
Step by Step
- Take the cardboard and place it on a uniform table. Fully open the cardboard and press it on the table with adhesive tape so that it is fixed and does not move or roll.
- Draw a tree on the poster board or cut out the family tree that you have printed.
- Paste it on the cardboard, trying to place it in the center of it. If you are going to draw it, you should use a number 2 pencil. The tree you draw must have a not so long trunk, but the crown must be leafy enough.
- Have the child draw, in his own way and ability, the faces of family members who do not have a photograph.
Paste each figure in each of the branches of the family tree in ascending order, placing the photo of the child at the base of the tree. Then, paste the photos of his siblings, slightly higher than the child’s, and continue with those of the parents and uncles.
